taking it to my favorite car show tonight.

My all time favorite local car show is the yearly show at !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! here in Providence. Always nice cars showing up, awesome location, no crappy do-wop music, and none of the "eight guys in their 50s with bone stock late model Corvettes" BS.

I just checked, and like I thought the double eyebrow vents in that style were only for a brief time (60-61). What's weird is that I think they were trying to echo the Impala, but the Impala only had them in '59...

I need to find more semi-local shows. I'll never get there at a reasonable hour, didn't know about it far enough in advance. The one weekend there would be two shows I wanted to go to last month I was tied up... The local cruise nights are kind of like what you said above - 8 guys in late model corvettes and a few old cars. Sometimes better but usually drab. People always love it when I pull up in my MG, something different to talk about for a while! I look for ideas about A/C conversions and such.

I had this beast the other day... a friend own(ed) it and I just left him with my '72 and took this one day when I was passing by his house. I think he since sold it, sadly.

Yeah I love the look, especially with the Panel truck, it just works. need to grab one soon man, prices are going up on these.
